The opening of the Cristiano Ronaldo museum is part of the plan to turn Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh into a global tourism and entertainment destination through the Riyadh Season festival organized by the government since 2019.
The Saudi Arabian government museum was built with the purpose of bringing in new tourists from the sports sector to diversify the audience. The initiative will help Saudi Arabia become a popular tourist destination, promoting itself as a global sports center.
