Coach Luis Castro, who joined Al-Nassr from Botafogo with the goal of winning the Saudi Pro League and other titles, recently praised Ronaldo as one of the best players in the world.
Regarding his relationship with Ronaldo, Castro told reporters, “It’s good to coach the best in the world. He is a member of the squad and will be remembered in football lore. So it is actual. Working with him and everyone else who came after him was a delight.
The 61-year-old coach’s aforementioned comment will help “win” some of CR7’s followers and increase Ronaldo’s self-assurance. The owner of 5 Golden Balls joined Al Nassr with huge expectations and the highest salary in history, however he was unable to assist the Riyadh regional team win any championships. Ronaldo joined the team from Manchester United and has since scored 14 goals in 19 appearances.
Currently on vacation, the former Real Madrid, Juventus, Manchester United, and Sporting player will return to Al-Nassr this week in preparation for a friendly matchup in Portugal versus Farense at the Estadio Algarve. This summer, Al-Nassr strengthened their team by bringing in Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan.
Clearly, Ronaldo will be committed to helping Al-Nassr to victory in the 2023–24 season in order to add another prestigious trophy to his collection.
