One of Europe’s best players is being persuaded by Cristiano Ronaldo to play with Al Nassr in the upcoming season.
Rudy Galetti’s sources claim that Al Nassr Club would raise its interest in Man City player Kevin De Bruyne and hold negotiations in the upcoming weeks. It’s understood that Cristiano Ronaldo will use his clout to get the 1991-born player to join Al Nassr for the upcoming campaign.
Galetti also mentioned that other Saudi Pro League teams might enter the competition to sign the Belgian athlete.
Premier League teams in the Gulf are also interested in Liverpool’s star striker, Mohamed Salah, in addition to De Bruyne.
Although De Bruyne’s contract with Man City expires in the summer of 2025, the Etihad team is anticipated to make proposals for the player that exceed £100 million during the forthcoming summer transfer window.

According to Football Transfer, Man City’s captain will turn 33 before the start of next season and completely consider moving to Saudi Arabia, when he has achieved every title with The Citizens. If he goes to the Middle East, he will join his former Man City teammates to play in the national championship – including Riyad Mahrez of Al Ahli and Aymeric Laporte at Al Nassr.
Ronaldo has played an active role in recruiting players for Al Nassr, and the Saudi Pro League in general, since he arrived in the league 18 months ago. CR7 arrived at Al Nassr on a free transfer in January 2023 and has since scored 56 goals in 62 matches.
Ronaldo turned 39 in February but is still playing well and scoring goals at a breakneck pace for both club and national team.
Captain Al Nassr also scored 54 goals in 2023, more than any other player in world football and 2 more than Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe.
