The image of a baby monkey clinging to the mother’s body lying in the mouth of a leopard makes many people sad.
The photo was taken by photographer Shafeeq Mulla in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia.
In the photo, the leopard took the mother monkey’s body in its mouth and let it go. The baby monkey still hugged the mother’s body and was eaten by the leopards afterwards.
“The photo shows us the rigors of real life. In order to be environmentally sustainable, some animals must die in order for others to survive,” Mulla said .
The photo was taken in October, but was re-shared recently after a photographer posted a similar image of a baby monkey clinging to its mother’s body being bitten to death by a lion and swallowed in its mouth at a zoo. South Africa exists.
“As a guide, I’ve seen many brutal encounters, but never as devastating as this one ,” said Hendri Venter, who took the photo.
